Lollipop is the film debut of young artists who are based in Berlin.
When the Turkish local grocer Salih walks to his shop in the morning he always greets the transsexual shop owner Hannelore that is waking up every morning with a headache. And each morning Salih expels the boy that is flirting with his young apprentice Cirak. As soon as Helmut arrives in the shop, Salih starts to complain over his neighbour, just as well as Helmut. Together they brew plans of revenge and think of how they can infuriate their neighbour even more.
What would be, if they knew both, that they are exactly that other neighbour of each other?
The short film 'Lollipop' shows in a Comedia dell'arte Style a feud between neighbours that is escalating. The characters have been chosen from the original film location in Kreuzberg and are casted so authenticly, that they seem to appear totally absurd and exaggerated.
